Massage Policies

It is our intention to provide our guest with a professional and therapeutic massage. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular massage clients of Moonlight Therapies LLC.

We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

**If you have a cold, flu, sore throat, stomach virus, skin rash, etc., anything contagious, please reschedule your appointment.**

To secure your appointment, we require a valid credit or debit card to be placed on file. It is your responsibility to keep us updated on changes and expiration dates. Moonlight Therapies will only charge your card on file for cancellations purposes and no-shows. We may also run your card to pay for your appointments. Giving your credit card number when you book your appointment is confirmation that you understand and agree to our polices.

Please arrive to your appointment at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out appropriate client forms. All massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and non-rushed experience.

Please provide at least a 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled appointment will result in a late cancel charge of the FULL service time. The calculation of this fee will be based on the regular rate of the service scheduled, regardless of any discounts that would have been applied. In consideration of everyone’s valuable time, clients who no show will result in a FULL charge of the missed appointment an will NOT be able to book until their outstanding balance is is met.

If late arrival is inevitable, your massage will be shortened, and we apologize for any inconvenience for not receiving full time. The original appointment will be charged.

It is important to note that we use Hot Stones in our services regardless of service type. We use complimentary stones during your massage as part of our service as well as hot towels. You may opt out of this at any time by letting your therapist know at the time of service. Here are a few things you should know before booking your appointment.

Hot stone massage is not suitable for everyone. There are risks associated with performing hot stone massage on individuals with the following conditions. You must inform your massage therapist/practitioner if you have any of the following conditions which may make hot stone massage contraindicated or may require your therapist/practitioner to alter the massage.

I have read and understand the conditions which make hot stone massage contraindicated. The massage therapist will discuss this information with me the day of my treatment and will provide opportunity for any questions.

I understand that I will be receiving hot stone massage as an adjunct form of healthcare only and that this therapy is not meant to replace appropriate medical care. I release the massage therapist of all liability for any harm that may unintentionally occur during my treatments.

On behalf of Moonlight Therapies LLC, thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to best serve you.
